I like it very very much, its plain not over complex, everything is in a good handy spot.

Ideal world I would not like the rescue :P perhaps when we change to chain only that will come off as well..... weee

interesting... I am dead curious to see not just what ui mobs peeps may be using but how they tackle setting the ui re heals and the like...

On this new group format on core the little man is not accurate which I could see being an issue.... but then again maybe not will have to see.

worth noting on mine are the two text only macros for 'call assist' which every tank needs and also 'assist tank' which EVERYONE should have to find out which mob the tank is hitting.

To set an 'assist tank' macro, just type in /assist Shadowfax (obviously the name is changed to whoever is main tanking).

To set a call assist macro, simply type in /say followed by your assist message.

I believe healers have something similar to heal the main tank when on main tank healing duty.

Xionns is the exact same ui as mine, it justshows you how versatile and different you can make core ui look.
It has a new author atm same as drox does so i will be watching ts development carefully, so many of the interface coders are leaving the game atm.

I like the buffs shown in a block and not only in a row at Xionn's

still wondering if CoreUI grants the recast timers on macroed spells

1 ... know where the shot you want is.

2.... see the bar above here says Host an Image, click that, well when you make a new post it comes up with Bold Italic Underline, Strike, Spoiler, Host and Image thats the one you want.

4... Browse where you wikkle pic is

5.... either resise or no choice is yours Smile depending of course

6....click host it, it will auto host for you the bord is set up that way

7.... copy the bbcode second one down thats fine nothing else just copy what it gives you. It will look like this, just that whole thing from the BBCode will be fine. I created spaces here so you could see the start.

maybe check especially the right side ... dropped the special slotbars for
rescues, counterattacks and finishers and integrated these spells into a
blockbar followed by others ... find it clearer this way ...

mines not really changed will have to have a look and see if I have a screenie of it with raid group, I have to say I adore it (even though healer helper no longer lines up beyond person 2 in the group)
Am very reluctant to lose coreui and hoping the 1.8 is released soon.

just downloaded DroxyCoreUI, fixed it to look exactly like what i used with CoreUI. There are a few DroxUI features that won't turn off when I click off or they keep reappearing when i log back in, so I need to move them off to the side when i log in everytime =P that can get annoying but i guess i can get use to it will post a piccy of how it looks soon

yes

The secret to getting the CoreUI Healthbars/HUD is UI Customizer, in the DroxyCore folder. You go to HUD in there and select Kinked(no numeric display)
(Note: I think this disables the ability to close out and open some DroxUI features in DroxyCoreUI)

Then go to the group tab and select Small and Expands down. Atleast that is what i like =)

For raiding I use the Classic Raid Panel, just click on Raid Panel and select Classic Raid Panel.

Encounters I did Encounters Expands Down and Buffs Horizontal w/o Name

For Pet I have the Mini Pet Window.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, those windows that I kept seeing when I logged in, well those are gone now =) I did a litle looking around and a little guessing and I got it. And I'll tell you how to do it =P

(Note: Make a back up folder for the whole DroxyCore folder before doing anything! You can make multiple backup folders along the way if you like what you have done and don't want to lose it)

Go into the Vanguard folder, click on VGUIAssets, click on Shells, click on DroxyCore.

Now go into the folder named dcmods. Now, those are all of the Drox utilities you see in Vanguard. What I moved to another folder was everything except for the files:

Art (folder)
Settings(folder)
Drox_DirectionArrow
Drox_Pet
Drox_TextDebuffs
Droxy_ControlPanel
DroxyCore_TargetDebuffsUp
ElesarShortCutPanel
ElesarShortCutPanel README

I might have been able to "delete" some more but a little tired to do that at the moment.

For some reason, Vanguard would not show the vertical weaknesses, debuffs, and buffs of the offensive target. If you have CoreUI3 downloaded, your are lucky =P If you do not, download it if you want this problem to be fixed. WARNING! Doing this gets rid of DroxUI features!!! I'm gonna try and edit the files so that the Drox features are still useable =P Not promising anything cuz I am learning as I go...

Now, to get the weaknesses, buffs, and debuffs of the offensive target, go into the CoreUI3 folder and copy the "index" file. Then paste that into the DroxyCore folder. (Might want to back up the DroxyCoreUI index file aswell, just to be on the safe side) Click on replace.

Congratulations, that problem is fixed =) Don't ask me how I figured that out, cuz I really have no idea ^^

Here is a link to download CoreUI3:
http://www.vginterface.com/downloads/download136-CoreUI31.7.1

EDIT: Fixed the "index" file so that it allowed the drox features... right click the "index" file inside the DroxyCore folder, select edit, and paste this code.

Code:
<!-- DroxyCore modification by Aalwein -->
   <GameplayWindows directory="dcmods">
      <Window filename="DroxyCore_VerticalContainers.xml" />
      <Window filename="DroxyCore_BigTargetBuffs.xml" />
      <Window filename="DroxyCore_AttachedAbilities.xml" />
      <Window filename="DroxyCore_ControlPanel.xml" />
      <Window filename="DroxyCore_TargetDebuffsUp.xml" />
      <Window filename="DroxyCore_Quickloader.xml" />
      <Window filename="ElesarShortCutPanel.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_TextDebuffs.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_CompassClock.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_EncounterHUDVerticalUp.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_GroupHUDVerticalInflight.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_GroupHUDVertical.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_PlayerStatus.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_RaidManagement.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_DefensiveTarget.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_Pet.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_PetStatus.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_ExperienceBar.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_IconTargetBuffs.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_BreathMeter.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_HealerHotbarVertical.xml" />
      <Window filename="Drox_IconTargetWeaknesses.xml" />
   </GameplayWindows>
   <!-- end DroxyCore mods -->

You need to paste that inside the index file just before the text:

Code:
<!-- These gameplay windows are loaded when you enter the game.
   Gameplay windows are significantly safer to edit than system windows. -->

I hope you guys atleast kinda understand what I just said. If you follow the steps you should get it working. It probably sounds like a bunch of jibberish to some of you guys.

Try using (code) (/code) around the XML you want to post, except with square brackets. There's a 'Code' formatting button on the forum.

Code:
<XML start>
<stuff>
<XML end>
