| OK....... I admit it..
Senility ha got the better of me.
Incontinence did along time age, But you get used to the rubber pants. They always did put a smile on my face.
I signed up for a month of Xsyon. a PVP sand-box.
Yesterday i followed the forum and tried EQ2 Extended. By 10 in the evening I was bored and wanted to go back to Xsyon.
It snowed there today I I am sure I could hear it crunching as I walked about carryiny large logs very slowly.
The ability to be able to shape the terrain in your tribal area and build a village is appealing. Crafting easy as per UO but some nice touches on what you can do. A grind ....Oh yes. BUT hell I am enjoying it.
Half a day in EQ2 and I was counting if I had enough asprin or a sharp razor blade.,
I shall go back to Secret Cove and spend the next 2 hours, carrying maybe 4 logs. But the snow crunches as you walk.
Pity it blows inside my Tepee wif no door.
Anyway, thats where I is. (Euro Server. Secret Cove. Tribal Lands of the Midnight Runners)
Oh and Vici is the monicer.

| That place sounds perfect, been watching that for a while, the pvp as you know puts me off, im a deep set coward I like grind, eq is not bad, it's a bit of a break from DDO which I love although it's grrrrr at the moment, we all need a rest now and then I have seen the screenies n such, and it looks perfect just the old bally fighting that gets me I could become a fishwife (no im not!) and stay home and carry logs for hours on end and cook n stuff, but not sure if crunchy snow and carrying logs will do it post screenies though, would love to see the land. | |

| I have Xsyon account and I've played a bit, its ok I quite enjoy virtually "mugging people" and stealing their stuff. When it comes to PVP sandboxes though I think I'll wait for the revamped version of Darkfall, it shoul d address some of the issues with disparity between experienced and new players and the relentless grind.
I remember my first PVP kill outside an FPS it was in DF, some guy was mugging noobs around a goblin spawn, I went and stashed all my gear in the bank and went back naked except for my boxers and undroppable noob two hander, it was fun watching him run when he got down to 50% health - I just wailed on his back until he dropped and took all his gold and gear. I woke my GF up shouting f**k you and phat loot!

| Mho. European Server Starting Location :- Secret Cove Use :- 'm' to get map up.... took me ages to find that one Go just a short way South from starting Location and you will enter 'Lands of the Midnight Runners' Thats my Homestead, you are welcome there. I can make alot of things. Its frustrating to start off with tho as you dont have that many tools and Need a chicken to make an egg but you dont have a chicken sort of scenario. As soon as I can invite you you can use nearly all of my containers. Oh and I can make grass storage bins they are easy and usefully big. Am out this evening (Sunday) until about 11 o'clock (12-midnight your time) but will try and log on then. My chars name is Vici Cya soon bro V | |

I gotta ask mike, what did you dislike about EQ2? So far i'm finding that Vanguard was pretty much a version of 'EQ Light'. I did find the 'cash shop' restrictions a tad frustrating on the free2p mind, but on live server once you hit level 20 and things get past the noob levels it's awsome. VG harvesting, vg crafting, vg questing, fantasting housing, Raiding, lotsa mounts, 32 classes and as many races, so far it pretty much has everything plus stuff I never experienced before . All weekend me and Tan have done nothing but go 'oooh how cool is that'. Plus it has about ten years of content and once you crank up the screen resolution the graphics are spot on too.

| Its just the same. Years of EQ1, a month of EQ2 when it launched Years of Vanguard. Go out kill me 4 of 'x' and you are such a hero Who was it that wished me another 60 years. Hell I am grumpy now, what have I got to achieve in the next 60. As Stam says, take me out behind the Chicken Shed with a 12 bore and 'Blow the mother away' Now thats a kindness. In Xsyon its just different, a hell of a grind yep but different. All donations to the shot gun cartridge appeal greatfully apreciated.V | |

seems it requires a tr4affic-speed beyind my actual connection. Hmm, that's strange. Maybe as it is browser based to avoid the big dload I would guess. I'd send you a friend invite to the regular servers but tried with kev and seems they stopped doing it once the f2p server went live
