| really really weird isn't it? Two years of nothingness then suddenly this when almost everyone's left including the dev team. maybe they had interns working at it again for something to do and decided to use what they made. | |

| Given that EQ2 is going cash shop and DCUO has already gone that way I wonder if we're going to see a similar move for VG? Is this the start of that ramping up process? I think a lot of companies are worried about SWTOR affecting their revenues, I've read a lot of things that some of its features particularly the fully voiced story lines have soured people on traditional MMOs.
I'll always have a soft spot for VG, though - it was a classic, done right it could have been one of the biggest games of its time. No doubt there will be a lot of rumblings about the removal of corpse runs over at VGPlayers. | |

| That itch isn't VG Pred Hmm, just not sure what ya could sell in a VG cash shop. All house items look like cups for starters, the itemization is completely borked Bit confused what'll happen to us now on eq2 Chara. Will we carry on as normal with a monthly sub? swap shards? *confused* EQX subbers get a lot less for their sub than we do, so not sure where it leaves us? | |

| Well, It's a start. Somehow i don't think a new dungeon and a couple new raid bosses are going to bring back many people. They need to get a proper full time development team and release monthly/bi-monthly updates to actually get anywhere.
I would love return to vg, but without regular updates I would just bored again, On my main character, I had completed APW, done the majority of POTA and finished the new 55 content they added. If I returned when the patch went live, I could see myself being done with it rather quickly then being back where i started, waiting another 2 years for the next update.
Guess I will wait until the full patch noteshave been released and see whether you guys decide to give it a go or not before i decide if i will sub for a month or give it a miss.
