I doubt they could prevent a game thats already owned lol, all this would do is make people buy on ebay,and buy across the borders legit buying via play.com may not get through due to its customs declaration... (years ago my wofenstein game was bought by a german wanting the full version of the game for example).

I find the idea more of an afront because of the mere suggestion that its the games that are the cause as if in some way this is going to cure the problem and ofc when they have not even introduced an age related system like with porn DVD etc its even more of a joke.
Also German are oerhaps one of the bigger players in EUro legislation making and anything that takes hold in their country I fear to become actual euro guidelines for us all years down the line, lol its pretty laughable when you actually think about it and I hope it falls on its face. I assume Ralf and saffy can explain more about this perspective piece of legislation.

it's a shame ... a recent amok-runner at a school plus elections this year boosted
their attacks against pc-games ... and as this "idea" involves not a single more
personell at schools or into other wings of the education system, they go for it in
a kinda hysteric amok-panic counterreaction. and as germans always have been
"good followers", the law prolly will make it through the voting.
I guess decisions like this are coming from brains used to the strategic level of tele-
tubbies. again it isn't fun to be german ... in a new and unexpected way ...
