| Going to wiseys to help him build a shed tomorrow...........not a pre formed shed a shed of our own invention, using only bits of wood and screws. (notice I said screws and not nails Fred, thats 'Made In England' quality for you ) Wish us luck. He says he's got the base down. Great, the difficult parts done then ..... you may want to keep an eye on TV in case one or both of us makes a guest appearance on City Hospital. | |

| are they phillips or robertson screws and is it an american head or a canadian head. also the robertson screw was invented here but the americans invented the bit. but you may also need a framing square and a level maybe a saw and a tape measure too. two great minds can build a shed so good luck and also make a slated roof and not a peeked one (its just easier-no gables to confuse you) and dont forget some over hanging on it as well. | |

| yup, rain stopped play........in fact rain stopped play from even starting. Thx for the advice fred, don't recall ever seeing robertson screws here, I am hoping that Wisey has forked out for some nice pozidrives (kind of a pimped phillips for those who don't know). From what wisey said on the phone, we are making the framework for the panels out of 8x4x4 fence posts : :. I can see a log cabin coming on. I'm thinking of hiding all the Makita batteries so wisey has to wind at least 2" of the (presumably 6") screws in by hand. Well it won't blow away that's for sure. | |
