| I just read a few books ...
"The Vesuvius Club" "The Devil in Amber" "Black Butterfly"
All by Mark Gatiss, who has been doing some doctor who stuff. You really should check thiese books out, they are really enjoyable.
The stories is about a secret agent called "Lucifer Box", and takes place in the end of 1890, around 1920, and 1950!!!
Here's what the wiki says about it:
Box is a flamboyant, dashing and elegant figure who displays a prominent sense of fashion. A portrait painter to the rich and influential, he uses this as cover for his activities as a secret agent (in the world of the novels, the Royal Academy is the front for Britain's secret services). Box is a charming but ruthless figure, who combines a sardonic sense of humour with a cold determination to kill when necessary. He lives at Number 9 Downing Street (next door to the Prime Minister, famously at Number 10), and presumbably two doors down from the Chancellor of the Exchequer. (Historical note:There used to be a Number 9 Downing Street, but it no longer exists.) Box is also openly bisexual, and is equally comfortable seducing both male and female partners. He has a sister called Pandora and a servant called Delilah.

| no, not kill him permanantly, hs just gonna regenerate into his new guy Matt Smith.
Atho once rgeneraing into Matt, tht will be hi lst regeeneration because timelordsareonly allowed 12 regenerations. Matt will be the 11th doctor but as he used the regeneration process to heal himself with his spare hand that technically counted as a regeneraion so his next will be his last...(but he will be able to reset the cycle...the master did this after the tv movie with Paul Mcgaan, unsure exactly how he did it tho...)

| Hmm what's this new one like? Ahh I get the regen thing now, did not realise only 12 perhaps he has to go backwards and un-do some of the deaths lol, or find a peace of Galifray like superman that regens, or the tardis we forget it's not just a machine it has some bio things in it as well. | |

| Agree about how good the episode was.
Thought the limitation on regeneration was no longer cardinal, given for example, the number of occasions the Master had regenerated; oh and guess what it looks like he is back in the Christmas episodes too.
Still have issues with a Doctor being played by an actor who now is not only younger than I but my eldest son too. Next thing you know I will have to get a 3' long cat just so I can see the bloody thing! |
