| ... hey y'all.. Raph here.. Stalked Shad a lot on the SoE forums before tracking him down over here. Muahaha. Or something anyway. Yet another old time EQ1 player - 00-03, Xev, for those that care. Hardcore raider back then - Came to MNR looking for something different. Too old for that shit now. Played SWG back in the day, too - Pre-NGE, so I never got to deal with that whole fiasco. Swore off MMOs and Pay to Plays in around '04/'05, especially anything with the SoE tag. Yeah. Look how well that worked out I'm a confirmed and serious alt-o-holic. I have no character slots left. That, of course, means that I don't actually ever level very fast. US Primetime player here, but just because I live in Vermont doesn't mean that I've forgotten St. David and the Red Dragon. I didn't want to spam Shad last night, so only my main three are guilded: Aalia - 28 Mordebi Shaman, 48 Tailor. Proud owner of a new Khal stone kitty that she can't ride yet, heh. Syrallian - 38 Raki Disciple, 39 Carpenter. Currently camping the Mass Production manual in Dargun's Tomb because I'm sick of making Caravels 5 planks at a time Tarsk - 29 Varanjar Warrior, 32 Armoursmith. My original main in EQ, and still one of my favourite to play. Any high 20s low 30s groups looking for a tank - hit me up - I need the practise. He's primarily soloed thus far. | |

Two different hats in those pictures, actually. The top picture has my old softbrim, bought in Toronto (of all places) .. Unfortunately I left it on the parcel shelf of my car all summer one year and it shrunk, so I cannot wear it any more.
The lower picture is a one of a pair of hats that my late wife and I bought for each other on our 2nd wedding anniversary. It's a hardbrim, and has a really nice shape.

when last in the states I spent $100 on a leather brimmed hat it was awesome... then on the way home I was so jet lagged I left it in the cab... the bastid cabbie said I never left it but I know I did it was in the passenger door I was gutted... will have to get another when i go over there again... for some reason traditional brimmed English hats just dont suit me...

It was for the best mate. In that hat Raf looks like Lou Diamond Phillips in Young Guns, whereas you'd look like an English bloke in a cowboy hat ............ unless of course the hair is part of the hat, in which case you'd look like a cross between Ugly Betty and Cher.
