Varekai, has always walked towards the light. She refuses to succumb totally to that dark side of herself. She enjoys the moon, and knows even its pale light will push back the shadows, always safe in the knowledge the sun will rise and drive the darkness away. Forever playing the endless game of tag with the shadows.
She longs for the wind in her hair, the sea pounding in her soul, the desert sand blinding her eyes, with a preferably a grey horse, between her thighs. She is first, foremost and always, a woman of passion, and forever fiercely faithful to her and hers, with a strange code of ethics and the naive belief in the goodness of mankind. Varekai exists in the new lands she inhabits, but always she is loyal to her past. She has existed in many venues and struck out on many ventures, always returning, the cycle complete.

She has followed rogues and scoffed at traditions, seen injustices and set out to correct them (in her own peculiar way). She is one who needs to see what is over the hill, behind the bend, or under the rock, always peering into shadows and hoping to shine some light upon the dark recesses. She always hopes to meet that which goes bump in the dark and dance once again under the silvery moon.
