Vanguard

Ok, well, seeing as people are thinking about going back to vanguard for a bit later in the year it might be an idea to pick a date which is best for everyone in order to get as many as possible. Can everyone post if they wish to resub to vanguard and which time is best for them please.

we have 3 free months each from that stratics comp, so shouldn't be a prob once reinstalled and so long as not busy on that day. Aoli is already playing I think and Wisey said he'll reinstall once we do too.

May be a bit erratic play times til summers over, but nemmind eh. That's 7 already.

Is Vici still playing? And will Ked admit to knowing us in front of his new guildies? Or will he flick them the bird and ride off into the sunset with the old Posse ........ That's old Posse, not old Pu......nemmind, moonies too close to risk it and I already pushed my luck once this week.

bollocks, i only just cleared out my hard drive a week or so ago and deleted my ui.

ill send u my folder shad, should have everything u need to make it look purty and it got rid of all the useless stuff that always got in the way

You should be able to send whole folder, Just zip it up and it should be fine...

Yesss, i lost vg when i upgraded to Windows 7, so if you wouldnt mind Pred, i will take that folder also... but tomorrow... must sleep.... gotta be up early...

Oh, didnt you hear? Daves gone... he got soo upset when you left him he ran and hid in the Guild Hall, not knowing the upkeep was low and the demolition team were on their way...

Remember to get the new patches for them if you use custom uis.

Vanguards ui got quite a few new features since you were last on, make sure your version will include them.

what did they add?

I'd forgotton you were on pretty recently. You may already have them if you'd updated your ui then. All right from what i can remember.

Expanded main inventory and it's window to 50 slots
Default Exp bar now shows the exact % of how far you are through a level
Stats tab in character window. Things like Crit/Damage/Healing % etc.
Short duration buffs window.

not much then, the droxycore i use alrdy shows % and yes the inventory got expanded well before we all left

droxycore always had stats as an additional asset to ur UI but not sure bout short duration buffs think that just shows in the buff window bar and then disappear

the short buff thing shouldnt be much of a prob tho if it only appears for a short time

I found the short duration buff window very useful in groups myself. Since you can easily tell when short but strong buffs are on you (like Gift of Ardor etc) it serves as a little poke letting you know its a good time to let your big attacks loose. I moved that window to right above my hotbars.

Definitely worth updating your ui for.

oh well those buffs have always just shown in the buff bar for me must have just made a seperate window to make them more distinguishable

Yes its a new feature that splits them up from the regular stuff.

Basically any buffs on you that last shorter than 5 minutes (or whatever number you specify in the options screen) will appear in it's own little window away from the rest of the buffs.

no patch for droxycore up, not that i see atleast
