Offer To Play With Us.

Seems our laid back antics are becoming popular guys.

I have to say that personally I enjoyed having the Heroes Of The Flame Guys along last night. It's always nice to help out and of course good PR never hurts.

I just had a message from Greye of Darkwind who has asked if he and one of his friends can join in playing with us on nights when they aren't raiding. I have spoken to him previously ingame and he seems a genuinely nice guy and the two of them have many alts through different levels.

As far as I can tell, Greye is pretty much one of the leaders of darkwind and I see this as another opportunity to make more friends and build our rep within Halgar. Esp as Amenta's leader now hates us, well me in particular I think lol after taking on board stuff about us from 'the family' and mud slinging on the game forums. (i took it to pm's with him now btw).

Anyhoo, I'd like everyones opinion regarding Greye and his lady friend. I'm guessing that like many raid guilds, aside from raid night they may be struggling to find playmates. Better to play with guys they can get to know than PUG i guess.

Obviously co-ordinating with one another to actually play together may be tricky, so if we decided to welcome them I would suggest maybe allowing Greye access to our TS server so he can find out what we are doing when he is free.

The ball is in the court guys, what do you all think?

Personally, I think its great that these guys from HOTF and DW like us enough to want to join in the fun we have. Plus any experience and help they can bring with them and share with us can only benefit, as well as the fun of making new friends ingame. If we can help others too, be it to get quests done, or just offer playmates and fun, then what a great way to portray ourselves. Who knows it may even compensate for me pissing people off :-)

Heh, I read that thread. Really should have just quit while you were ahead on that one. If you keep taking the bait people will just keep setting it.

Anyway if these two are genuinely friendly and helpful people I've no problems with it.

You know me ked, I enjoy it way too much to back off :-). I really dunno what the guy was banging on about though. Seems he has some kind of persecution complex or something. Nothing I said prior to him kicking off had anything to do with Amenta.

Since he said he was pointed towards the thread I can only assume someone else in his guild helped him come to an opinion.
