Well I sent you a tell 3 times Shad and you didn't answer.

Was busy yesterday and couldn't log in. Just logged in today and my toon has dissapeared! Very Weird.

Hmm, probably me not seeing the tells mate. I'm terrible like that plus I dunno if theres a noise to indicate it etc.

Moonies toon was missing but a quick relog sorted it.

Well if there's one thing going back to EQ2 taught me its that I'm totally burned out on MMOs, its a shame because EQ2 is a damn good game and has a community up there with Vanguards, I've even tried the FFA PVP sandboxes. I can relate to what Vici said about wanting something different - I did it with Darkfall. I'd rather play a quick 10 minutes PVP on CoD or something. I don't think I can justify the constant cost of maintaining a decent PC gaming rig, I'm looking at £290 to get mine up to scratch, I can buy an XBOX for £180 and I'm off to do it tomorrow, the last straw was my Roccat mouse losing its right button - I can no longer aim in shooters - its a fifty quid mouse and about a year old. I may be back PC gaming if I get tired of being insulted by 12 year olds on XBOX live. Good luck in EQ2 folks its a good game and has everything you are looking for, I've been hopping round MMOs for the past few years trying to find one that would get me. VG did for a good 6 months around launch - enough for me to build a £1000 rig to play it on. I've come to realise that its me, not the games, I'm just heartily sick of the grind in any shape or form.

I can understand that mate, and for sure we know you've tried just about everything we've had a go at. It's a bit easier for me I guess as Tan' plays too so gives us something other than watch telly to do in the evenings, plus of course always at least duoing is always more fun and makes life easier I guess. It's like having my own pet healer .

Thanks Shad , I'll give 'em some hell I don't do to badly against them on the PC. All reserved for pick up tomorrow along with high def video cable so I can use it on my monitor, reserved a copy of CoD black Ops for it as well. As for other stuff well the PC version of Skyrim is an Xbox 360 port anyway, I love the Elder Scrolls games. Tried to get my Mrs interested in games, she didn't get any further than getting out of the Vault in Fallout 3 or Imperial Space Station in SWG, it was a shame as she was a healer and I could have used her to back up my Commando post NGE. If nothing else I can game with my GFs son and his mates over XBOX live.

Don't get black ops, its a fail cod game ...

If you want a COD for the console go with CoD4/MW2 or wait for MW3. Anything made by Treyarch is a fail in my book.

I've been playing Gears of War 3, Fifa 12, and the Battlefield 3 beta lately although I have gone onto black ops every now and then to do some gamebattles with some college friends. The game is just old and is no fun anymore. I find MW2 aod CoD4 to be a lot more entertaining, enjoyable, and "finished".

I've played Black Ops on the PC, its just that it runs crappy on my current rig, I kind of like it, the cold war is very much my era. The kill streak rewards seem a kot more subtle to me than MW2 and that suits my nature that way. Don't get me wrong though Pred, I played the hell out of MW2 multiplayer and really enjoyed it - the game gave me back my taste for shooters which I hadn't really played since Half Life 2 due to getting into MMOs. I will be buying MW3 when it comes out along with Skyrim at the beginning of next month.

Thanks for the kind words Mho, I'll stay in touch, your a nice bunch and the sanest guild I've been in! As for Scrabble, the classes are unbalanced for pvp, the z is totally imbalanced compared to the a even with a triple score buff!

maybe join the **ZidZight Zunners**,
they'll show you how to make the right use of the "Z" in PvP ... ;-) ...
and also switch mother tongue ... german helps a lot with the *Z* ...

Hmm, playing CoD on the Xbox sucks, it took me a while to get used to the iffy control system - no match for the precision of a keyboard and mouse. I've seen people cheating, my GFs son who is a big xbox gamer warned me about this, earlier on I put three bursts from an M16 into a guy at virtually point blank, it didn't even seem to slow him down. I think the Xbox can go into the cupboard for emergencies and I'll upgrade my PC. While its possible to hack on the PC the Valve anti cheat system and the fact that folks can get kicked/banned from a server means its less likely.
