Guild hall opening events

ok the hall is almost upon us and I want to ask you the guildees...

as you know I have lways wanted to run a guild hall event. each event being a plat prize of our money. (or similar prizes)

so I ask do you want this to be an open or closed events?


I had in mind (and have discussed breffly with shad and birds) running a boat race, a duel contest and a pentathlon...

so event 1 a boat race... simple really provide a boat and race...
maybe 2 classes needed sloop and caravel.

event 2 dual.... difficult if server wide otherwise levl 45+

evebnt 3 a race a penathalon over all terrains... we will need 3 moderators o be checkpointers... this is told as race starts... they each give a word or (words) that form a phrase get past all htree and crosss the finish line and voila...

note this discusussion is about format not content.

I would be happy with a guild wide or server wide event... if more than guild i wil plague the reps I am in touch with to get exposure...

lets get the format and prizes set though to avoid embarrassment (and entrance fees etc)

I would suggest make it guild plus invitation.....maybe the guys we shared the diplo task with, we helped each other out a lot.

Not so keen on giving plats away as prizes really mate, it's all gh upkeep which now the diplo is nerfed ain't gonna be so easy to make i dont think.

I'd be willing to be a moderator in a race, being only level 10 and running cross country would probably involve many deaths for me
